Casting Call — Terms of Submission
GORE WARS CASTING CALL — TERMS OF SUBMISSION (Version 3.0-2026-07-21)
1. What This Is. Gore Wars is a casting call for an unscripted reality competition series in development (the "Series") from Screamify ("Producer"), Nashville, Tennessee. Submitting a casting tape is an audition for casting consideration only. This is not a contest, sweepstakes, or lottery. No prize, payment, or compensation is awarded for submitting a casting tape, and no purchase or payment is required to submit. Contact: info@gorewars.com.
2. The $10,000 Grand Prize. The $10,000 grand prize referenced in Gore Wars materials is the prize to be awarded to the winning competitor on the Series, if and when the Series is produced, under rules established for the Series. It is not a prize for the casting process, and submitting a tape does not create any right to compete for or receive it.
3. Casting Period. Casting closes August 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time. Producer may extend, shorten, close early, or reopen casting at its sole discretion with notice posted on gorewars.com.
4. Eligibility. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of submission, and legally able to participate in a television/streaming production. Where a tape is submitted for a team, the submitting applicant must be authorized to act for the team and every on-camera team member must meet these requirements.
5. Your Submission. Applicants submit a video reel or examples of their practical effects work (the "Submission"). Existing work is welcome; no newly produced audition is required. We suggest keeping Submissions under approximately three (3) minutes. The Submission must showcase practical effects — no generative AI and no CGI. The Submission must be the applicant's own work, and the applicant must have the right to submit it and to grant the rights in the Materials Release, including the consent of everyone appearing on camera. Limit three (3) Submissions per person or team. Submissions that violate these requirements, are unlawful, infringe third-party rights, or depict actual (non-simulated) harm to any person or animal will not be considered.
6. No Obligation. Producer is under no obligation to produce the Series, to cast any applicant, to respond to any submission, or to award any prize in connection with this casting call. Casting decisions are at Producer's sole discretion and are final. Producer may modify, suspend, or cancel this casting call at any time. Submission does not create any employment, partnership, or confidential relationship, and applicants are not entitled to compensation for submitting.
7. Your Footage. Casting tapes are not publicly displayed on gorewars.com. Tapes are reviewed by Producer and its producing partners, and all use of submitted footage is governed by the Materials Release accepted at submission. Casting tapes are reviewed by human beings for casting purposes and will not be used to train any artificial-intelligence system.
8. If You Are Cast. Selected applicants will be contacted using the information provided at submission and will be required to enter into separate participant agreements (including background, eligibility, and appearance terms) before appearing on the Series. Any Series prize will be subject to those agreements and applicable tax reporting (W-9 / IRS Form 1099).
9. General. By submitting, applicants agree to these Casting Terms. Producer is not responsible for lost, late, corrupted, or misdirected submissions or technical failures of any kind. This casting call is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Meta, X, YouTube, or Reddit. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Personal information collected at submission is used solely for casting and as described in the Materials Release.
